Terms of Service

This is a courtesy translation. RevueNova is operated by a French company and the French version of these terms is the only legally binding one; in case of discrepancy, the French text prevails.

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use (the « Terms ») set out the legal conditions for accessing and using RevueNova, a scientific literature search and analysis platform published by MQUANTUM SAS, together with its related services.

By accessing the platform or creating an account, the user accepts these Terms without reservation. Users who do not accept them must refrain from using the services.

2. Access to the services

Some features require the creation of a personal account. The user undertakes to provide accurate information and to keep their credentials confidential. They are solely responsible for activity carried out from their account.

MQUANTUM reserves the right to suspend or delete any account in the event of a breach of these Terms, fraudulent use, or following prolonged inactivity.

3. Description of the service

RevueNova aggregates bibliographic data from open sources (OpenAlex, CrossRef, Semantic Scholar, PubMed) and provides tools to support literature review: unified search, source auditing, structured extraction, translation, and a review notebook.

A large share of the analysis tools rely on artificial-intelligence models supplied by a third party. The results they produce are decision aids and do not replace the user's own judgement; no automated decision is taken in respect of the user.

In accordance with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, every tool that calls on AI is marked as such in the interface, and generated content is identified both in the application and in exported documents. 4. Intellectual property

All source code, design, trademarks and algorithms of RevueNova are the exclusive property of MQUANTUM SAS. Content generated by the tools remains available to the user who submitted the request; MQUANTUM retains the rights to the technological extraction and analysis methods employed.

Users must respect the copyright attached to the documents and articles they submit to the platform. RevueNova acts as a processing tool and grants no distribution right over content protected by third-party publishers.

5. Limitation of liability

MQUANTUM makes every effort to produce analysis results faithful to the documents processed, but cannot guarantee absolute scientific accuracy. The user remains solely responsible for interpreting, verifying and using the extracted data in their own work or publications.

MQUANTUM cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage resulting from a misinterpretation of the results, nor for service interruptions caused by third-party data sources.

6. Prohibited conduct

The following are strictly prohibited:

• reverse-engineering the platform's algorithmic models;
• deliberately overloading the servers through automated requests or unauthorised bots;
• submitting unlawful documents, or documents demonstrably infringing third-party intellectual property rights;
• attempting to access accounts or data that do not belong to the user.

7. Changes to the Terms and governing law

MQUANTUM reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of any significant change by email or through the platform.

These Terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tours, France.
